A BILL to repeal §24-2F-1, §24-2F-2, §24-2F-3, §24-2F-4, §24-2F-5, §24-2F-6, §24-2F-7, §24-2F-9, §24-2F-10, §24-2F-11 and §24-2F-12, of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, all relating to repealing certain provisions of the Alternative and Renewable Energy Portfolio Act.

Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:

CHAPTER 24. PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION.

ARTICLE 2F. ALTERNATIVE AND RENEWABLE ENERGY PORTFOLIO STANDARD. NET METERING OF CUSTOMER-GENERATORS.

§1. Repeal of sections relating to alternative and renewable energy portfolio standard.

            §24-2F-1, §24-2F-2, §24-2F-3, §24-2F-4, §24-2F-5, §24-2F-6, §24-2F-7, §24-2F-9, §24-2F-10, §24-2F-11 and §24-2F-12 of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, are hereby repealed.

            NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to repeal most sections of the Alternative and Renewable Energy Portfolio Act and to preserve established sections of code relating to providing for net metering for customer generators of electricity.
